As City Manager for the City of Cornelia, it is my honor and pleasure to welcome you to our website and introduce you to our community. Cornelia has a rich history and a bright future. We are a proud southern community that is committed to upholding our small town atmosphere and strong family values while encouraging "smart" economic growth.

Reservoir and Water Treatment Ground Breaking
On May 16, 2017, The City of Cornelia broke ground on our new water reservoir and treatment plant adjacent to our current site. The Plant will be a state of the art 4.0 million gallon per day super pulsator plant with a 76 million gallon raw water reservoir and 2.0 million gallon clearwell. The start of the project is May 22, 2017 and projected end Nov. 23, 2018.
